REUTERS: Maurizio Sarri, the director of Chelsea's sub-fire, has denied reports that he is in talks to replace Eusebio Di Francesco at AS Roma.

The future of Sarri in London was questioned after his team fell to sixth in the Premier League, as fans turned to Italy in recent defeats against Manchester City and Manchester United.

Malmo's 3-0 win at Stamford Bridge on Thursday puts Chelsea in the last 16 of the Europa League 5-1 overall and relieves pressure on Sarri, but he still has to answer questions about Roma after the match.

"I have a contract with Chelsea for the next two seasons, so it's impossible to get another one," he told BT Sport.

"In an Italian newspaper, I read something about a meeting with Franco Baldini (Romani councilor), but I think for the moment, Franco is in South Africa, so it 's the same thing. is very difficult."

Midfielder Jorginho, who was booed by home support when he replaced striker Ross Barkley in the second half, is another Chelsea player.

Sarri came to the defense of the Italian international.

"I think in the first 30 minutes we understand why Jorginho is very important to our team," Sarri told reporters. "We had trouble getting out of our half with pressing.

"With Jorginho, it's easier, I think, and I hope our fans will be able to understand that Jorginho is really a very important player for us."

Chelsea will play against Manchester City on Sunday in the League Cup final at Wembley.
