Sasha Obama has apparently decided to go to university.

Sasha Obama, the youngest daughter of former President Barack Obama, will debut at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor next week, according to an article in the Detroit News.

The report seems to cement the rumors that circulated earlier this year.

According to the report, other UMich students saw the former first-grade girl follow the orientation of freshmen and walk around the campus, especially near the undergraduate library.

A third-year student told the Detroit News that he was vacuuming when "she came out in front of him": "I said," Excuse me. It was a crowded hallway with her and the secret service guys, the student. I said.

A freshman also told Detroit News that both had mutual friends and that Obama was only a "normal student for me".

Sasha, 18, is expected to begin classes on Tuesday, according to the report. We did not know right away what she planned to study or if she would live in the dormitories.

A representative from the University of Michigan said he had no information to share, adding, "We are excited to start another academic year. We welcome all students to campus and wish them much success in their stay at U-M. "

Sasha, whose legal name is Natasha, graduated from the elite Sidwell Friends School in Washington, DC, in June, after apparently attending her prom in May. Obama has always taken his studies seriously: Sasha has been remarkably absent from his father's farewell speech in 2017; A White House official later stated that she had remained in Washington, DC, because she had passed an exam at school in the morning.

Going to a public school is a little different from that of her sister and her parents, all of whom attended Ivy League schools. Malia begins her third year at Harvard this fall (she took a year off after high school before starting her studies), Barack Obama went to Columbia, then to Harvard Law School and Michelle Obama to Princeton, then to Harvard.

Yet, UMich is not left out. He is ranked 27th in the nation by US News & World Report, tied with Tufts at Medford – a school that Malia toured a few years ago.

And at least, his parents will have something to give them to get through any potential empty nest syndrome: the Obama apparently would have bought the property of Celtic co-owner Wyc Grousbeck on Martha's Vineyard for $ 14.85 million. (In 2016, at the age of 15, Sasha held a summer job on the vineyard at Nancy's restaurant and snack bar.)
