Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson, ST Nick Bellore to lead NFC in Pro Bowl votes

While the Pro Bowl was called off this season in what was perhaps the toughest punch of 2020, the NFL is still taking votes and will announce rosters for the NFC and AFC.

The league provided an update on Pro Bowl fan voting on Wednesday, with the deadline in less than a month. Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, along with special teammate Nick Bellore, are among the top contenders.

Wilson is second in the NFL in total votes, with 139,839, which just trails Patrick Mahomes with 143,355 votes. Bellore leads all the special team members for the votes, with 43,906.

In the midst of a bright 2020 season, Wilson appears to be on course for a seventh Pro Bowl selection and a fourth in a row. Bellore has yet to be named to the Pro Bowl, but he was named to the Pro Football Focus All-Pro squad in 2014 as a special teammate.

Seattle did not have a special teammate elected to the Pro Bowl since Alex Bannister in 2004. Bellore, linebacker turned fullback, is currently second in the NFL in special team tackles.

Pro Bowl voting will run until December 17th.
