Second beta of Call Of Duty Modern Warfare: Here's what to expect

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare prepares for its second beta release before launching the first-person shooter on October 25 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Developer Infinity Ward has explained what you can expect when the beta version of Modern Warfare will be released this Thursday.

Published on the subreddit of Modern Warfare, the flagship feature of this second beta is a cross game on all platforms. Ground War, the 32v32 multiplayer mode of the game, makes its appearance with a new card called Karst River Quarry. The second beta version of Modern Warfare is open to those who have pre-ordered on PC and Xbox One and all PS4 owners (whether pre-ordered or not). It will run from 19 to 20 September, and will immediately enter free access for all players from 20 to 23 September.

Infinity Ward also shared the incoming bug fixes for the second beta version of Modern Warfare. Some of these fixes include addressing players near doors, grenades stuck on doors, players stuck in some parts of the map, and so on. In addition, Infinity Ward said it was investigating several other issues, including online server connectivity, unlocked weapons attachments at the required level, and more.

While Infinity Ward has alluded to the addition of Battle Royale to Modern Warfare, the studio insists that Battle Royale will not come. Although the studio "likes[s] Royal Battle, "The studio's narrative director, Taylor Kurosaki, explained that Infinity Ward had plenty of other elements." Campaign, Multiplayer, Spec Ops —[battle royale] do not go in the box! How many do you want? "Kurosaki said.
