Sampath Nandi collaborated with Gopichand again and this time he donned his lucky mascot and Racha Tamanna’s daughter. The film made noise. Sampath has this time chosen a sporty setting and given it a commercial twist. Gopichand and Tamanna are Kabaddi coaches for the respective teams in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states. Who plays with the coach of a women’s team Kabaddi? What is their motive? The crux of the Seetimaarr is how Gopi fights them all.
Director Sampath Nandi, known for taking the pulse of the masses, seems to have targeted them with Seetimaarr. The teaser promises to be a mass action flick with a sporting backdrop. The film appears to be shot on a large scale. Massive single-seaters are perfect. Dialogues like “Kabaddi… Maidanam Lo Adithe Aata, Bayata Adithe Veta” hit the nail on the head. The action sequences are well shot. The makers have taken special care in the high octane fight scenes, and Gopichand uses different weapons to beat the goons. The teaser says this is a Gopichand show.
However, the film has a stellar cast. Renowned FryDay and Jalebi Digangana Suryavanshi plays a pivotal role in the film. She is a television journalist whose role is closely linked to the history of the film. Bhumika Chawla plays an important role. Rao Ramesh, Subbaraju, Tanikella Bharani, Jayaprakash, Dev Gill, Tarun Arora, Preethi Asrani et al. Bigg Boss Akhil Sarthak’s fame is also seen in a role in the film. The background music of Mani Sharma is a major asset. The production values are good. The creators of U-Turn have come up with a total mass movie this time around.
