Sega celebrates the New Year on social media with stunning Sonic artwork

Game companies are sharing all kinds of special artwork on social media right now to celebrate the holidays and the New Year, and joining in on the fun is the official from Sega. Sonic the hedgehog Twitter account.

He recently shared a great carnival scene with Sonic and a number of classic characters such as Mighty, Ray, Fang, and Bean. This image was actually taken by Nathalie Fourdraine, who has contributed to a number of covers on IDW’s Sonic comic book series. We also have holiday artwork (above) featuring characters like Cream and Amy Rose.

This year marks Sonic the Hedgehog’s 30th anniversary. Sega has already mentioned how he has some very exciting news to share and can’t wait to reveal what it is.
