At an SXSWGaming panel, Sega revealed new details about the upcoming Team Sonic Racing. The game will focus on team racing and is developed by SUMO Digital. The new game will offer more customization options, including various horns. Sega also announced that a new animated series will be released based on the upcoming game.

Team Sonic Racing will support both offline and online races and allow players to face or face them. It is published on PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC.

As players finish the races, they will win a currency that will allow them to unlock new random prizes. These awards will allow you to get new car parts, including performance mods, horns and different paint colors. There will also be rare gold coins.

Sega then announced and revealed the first look at a new animated series created in connection with the game. Overdrive of the Sonic Racing team will feature various characters from the franchise in a new style based on their modern versions. The characters appearing in the series include Sonic, Tails, Shadow, Big The Cat, Amy and other favorites.

The show will begin in April.

The show has no dialogue because it facilitates exchanges around the world and the translation of the dialogue is expensive. Although Sega hopes that in the future, they will be able to add a spoken dialogue.

Team Sonic Racing will be released on Xbox One, PS4, Switch and PC on May 21, 2019.
