5th edition of Yorodehé: When tradition and modernism get married for a social cause

The 5th edition of the Ivorian woven loincloth festival, called '' Yorodeh '' ended with a big fashion show, around a gala dinner organized on Saturday, July 28 at the Radisson Blu hotel in Abidjan .

After the day dedicated to the exhibition, several fashion designers invited to this evening, including Eloi Sessou, MB Design, Théo Style and Cécile Koby, answered the call of Ouli Pat, initiator of the event, leaving the woven loincloth from its traditional context. Not to mention Syllama Design who has accessorized the different outfits of this beautiful evening. The public, led by Minister Anne Désirée Ouloto, godmother of the ceremony could contemplate beautiful outfits of town, outing or evening. A true alliance of tradition and modernism that has left no one indifferent in the room. As announced by Ouli Pat, this edition allowed to make a humanitarian gesture to the place of the Bloléquin nursery. Apart from this, 20 sewing machines donated by the executives and elected officials of the Cavally and Ouli Pat region were also donated to the sewing center of the girls in the area.

Nestor David, Flame, Alex Fox, the children's troupe The Peace of Cavally brought a beautiful musical note to this fashion evening.
