The French ambassador to the Democratic Republic of the Congo urged Congolese authorities on Saturday, July 14, 2018, to renew dialogue with the international community, with whom relations have deteriorated since the beginning of the year.
Before several dozens of guests gathered in his residence for the national holiday of his country, the French ambassador to the DRC Alain Remy praised the relations that unite the two countries.
M. Rémy arrived at the end of his term, after three years in office. "I have noticed a steady deterioration in the DRC's relationship with a part of the international community, with many of its traditional partners, with its friends," he regretted.
