© koaci.com- Monday, July 30, 2018 – Several heads of state of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) and of the Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS) arrived yesterday Sunday in Lome to attend the joint summit of the two organizations that opens Monday in the Togolese capital.

The summit aims to define and implement a common approach to peace, security, stability and the fight against terrorism and violent extremism in West and Central Africa.

The Presidents who arrived in Lome in total more than fifteen heads of state to have trod on the soil Togolese. Among the Presidents arrived are Alassane Ouattara from Ivory Coast, Muhamadou Issoufou from Niger, Muhammadu Buhari from Nigeria, Alpha Condé from Guinea, Georges Weah from Liberia, Nana-Addo Akufo from Ghana, Roch Kaboré, the Congolese Denis Sassous Nguesso, Julius Maada Bio of Sierra Leone … and Macky Sall of Senegal
