Two years after his death, the family of Adama Traoré loses patience. Initially, the experts were to submit their conclusions on 17 May. After a first request for postponement, a new deadline was set for 17 July. However, the day before, the doctors requested a new postponement to September 30th. An application to which the judge has therefore granted "because of the difficulties encountered."

The origin of death at the heart of expertise
The content of this expertise is crucial in the case. To date, the death of Adama Traoré by asphyxiation is confirmed, but its origin – anterior cardiac fragility or chest compression during the intervention of the gendarmes, or both – remains to be determined. Therefore, the magistrate asks the experts to clarify this sensitive point, with regard to his medical file and the statements of gendarmes who proceeded to his arrest after a chase.
