Citroën launches glasses to fight against motion sickness

Citroën helps people who are sick by car and throws the glasses Seetroën which, in addition to offering a great word game, eliminate the motion sickness.

Holidays often rhyme with long journey by car. For some, this moment can turn into a nightmare because of transport sickness. To improve the comfort of children and adults who suffer, the Citroën brand has launched a pair of original glasses: the Seetroën.

Fight against the harm of transport thanks to the Seetroën

In Europe, at least 30 million people suffer from chronic transport sickness, which is always synonymous with anxiety when going on vacation and can be a real obstacle to long journeys for some people. To remedy this, the French car brand Citroën offers a fun and innovative solution to enjoy his journey with confidence : glasses Seetroën.

These glasses dedicated to travel and sensitive people in car help fight against motion sickness. The device works with the "Boarding Ring" technology designed by the start-up of the same name installed in the Var. Unlike conventional glasses, these glasses are not equipped with glass but are provided with 4 rings arranged around the eyes, in the frontal direction (right-left) and in the sagittal direction (front-back) in order to recreate the line of horizon and to solve the sensory conflict at the origin of the evil in resynchronizing the ear and the sight.

An effective result?

These glasses, whose design was ensured by the studio 5.5, should be worn as soon as the first symptoms appear. After a period of 10 to 12 minutes, the sensory conflict causing the problem dissipates and Citroën said that these glasses give a positive result in 95% of cases. Once the problem is solved, simply remove the glasses to enjoy the trip. Note that this device can be used by adults as well as children over 10 years. The launch of this product is accompanied by a communication campaign in Europe 100% social networks.
