"At a time when the north of the country is experiencing an escalation of violence and attacks, forcing schoolchildren and their brave supervisors to desert classrooms, our diplomacy must resolutely reframe itself in its sovereign mission which is the defense of the people of Burkina Faso and its interests in the international arena, in order to help the Sahel Emergency Program grow and realize its noble ambitions, "said the head of Burkina Faso's diplomacy.
Without peace, there is no development, acknowledged Alpha Barry. But it turns out that terrorism feeds essentially on the poverty of the people. For him, therefore, the diplomats must "mobilize more the friends and partners of Burkina Faso to put them at the service of the economic and social development of Burkina Faso."
