The 80th Ordinary Session of the Council of Ministers of ECOWAS opened Saturday afternoon in Lome under the presidency of Robert Dussey, the head of Togolese diplomacy.

The Council will examine the draft agenda of the 53rd Conference of Heads of State and Government of the organization scheduled for the end of July in Lome. Cedeao is currently chaired by Togo.
