Femi Kuti & The Positive Force are in the lead of the official opening concert of the 32nd edition of the International Nuits d'Afrique Festival on Thursday, July 12 at 8:30 pm at MTELUS. The Nigerian singer will present his new album One People One World, released in February of this year.

Inspired by the legendary style of her famous father Fela Kuti, Femi has prepared with her band The Positive Force, a unifying album that explores the infinite possibilities of afrobeat. Record Lagos in Nigria, this new artistic project also draws on sounds from around the world with touches of soul, funk, R & B or reggae.
The artist is renowned for being an indefatigable performer. Accompanied by exceptional musicians, including a section of four brass and three choristers, Femi Kuti & The Positive Force will set the stage on fire.
Femi likes to touch people and to convey positive and politically engaged messages. The songwriter argues against conflict and sings for a united world that he tries to make better. For this new album, the artist has voluntarily created a more optimistic music in order to give a message of hope to the new generations.
