The social network Twitter has begun, on the night of Thursday to Friday, the suppression of 10 million accounts considered as inactive or suspicious.

Great influencers, regular users of tweets, are victims of this 'purge'.

In the United States, great celebrities have seen their number of followers melt. Singer Katy Perry, for example, lost 2.8 million subscribers in one night, noted our colleagues CNN. Just behind her is Justin Bieber, whose account has lost 2.7 million fans. Barack Obama, he lost 2.4 million.

The account of Donald Trump, very active on Twitter, lost only 200,000 subscribers.

On the side of French influencers, Arthur recorded the biggest fall with 400,000 users missing from his statistics. Cyril Hanouna would have lost a little less than 100,000. Jean-Luc Reichmann loses 46,624 subscribers, Nikos Aliagas 36,758, Cyril Féraud 50,221 and Alessandra Sublet more than 97,000.
