Hammamet 2018 Festival: program of the 54th edition from July 8 to August 18

The 54th edition of the international festival of Hammamet directed this year by Mounira Mnif, first lady appointed at the head of the festival will take place from July 08 to August 18, 2018. Festival Hammamet 2018 will host on its stage about forty national artists and internationals for a total of 40 shows and with, as usual, theater and theatrical creation in honor.

"Hammamet, for lovers of life", this is the motto of this 54th edition, which tends towards an opening of Tunisia, towards the Mediterranean, the African continent and various countries around the world. Fadhel Jaibi and Jalila Baccar will ensure the opening night Sunday, July 8, 2018 with the play 'Fear (s)', new creation of the Tunisian National Theater and 2nd installment of their trilogy. The 54th edition of the Hammamet festival will close with the show "The comptemporary Hadra" by the singer Ghalia ben Ali.

Several young Tunisian musicians and singers will perform on the Hammamet stage as the group Dendri, the duo Yuma, Nour Harakati & Aytma, Jihed Khemiri and Dali Chebil, Mounir Troudi, or Badreddine Dridi and Zied Zouari with his latest album "Maquam Road".

Among the foreign artists, there will be the Casablancais group "N3rdistan", Egyptians WUST AL BALAD and Lebanese Hiba Tawaji & Oussema Rahabani as well as Marcel, Rami Khalife and Aymeric Westricht who will perform all three on stage. The participation of Dobet Gnahoré and Protoj & The Indignation, the Portuguese Fadista Camané or the trio Omar Sosa, Seckou Keita and Gustavo Ovalles, Faia Younen and Carlos Nunez, Emir Kusturica and the No Somking Orchestra.
