According to the Presidency of the Republic, the visit of Moussa Faki Mahamat in Cameroon has three issues. The Third Interest of this visit of Moussa Faki Mahamat is the triggering of the momentum of international solidarity in favor of the regions of north-west and south-west of Cameroon currently in crisis.

From 8 to 9 May 2017, the President of the AU Commission came to thank the Cameroonian authorities in general and President Paul Biya in particular, for his personal involvement in his election to the prestigious functions he currently holds.
