Opening of the 5th edition of Al Haouz Festival

The summer session of the 5th edition of the Al Haouz Festival began Saturday, in Tahanaout, with a parade that brings together more than 400 artists, acrobats, Oulad Ahmed or Moussa, tracers, riders, acrobats, musicians, Ahouach and Gnawa.
The opening ceremony was also marked by the inauguration of a craft products fair and another for local products.
Placed under the patronage of HM King Mohammed VI and organized by the Al Haouz Association for Culture, Education and Development, the festival launches the "N9iw Blasstna" operation and brings together 30 children and adolescents from Haouz around educational workshops.
The summer session of the 5th edition of the Al Haouz Festival, which is held from July 7 to 10 under the theme "Cultures and Entrepreneurship", brings together young musicians from Al Haouz for a residence and propels in the streets from the city of Tahanaout the 10 street artists of the collective "400 ML" for the realization of a course of 12 murals.
A duo composed of the young painter of Tahanaout, Meriem Tagadirt and the Senegalese photographer, Ina Thiam proposes the exhibition "Jeunesses Africaines" in Marrakech.
The program of this event, include a walk led by local traditional troops inviting the public to meet 90 exhibitors tradeshows, products of the terroir of Al Haouz and riders of Tbourida, and a journey of mural painters that leads to the community space of Tahanaout in which the public will discover the works of sculptors accompanied by young talents of Al Haouz. This event will also be marked by the organization of three nights of concerts in Tahanaout, Aït Ourir and Amizmiz and a cinema program in the public squares of Imlil, Douar Azrou and Douar Tarzint, as well as the new scene animated by "Block 10 "creating the meeting between the young musical creation of Al Haouz, Casablanca, Agadir, Senegal, Ghana and Congo.
