SPACE – Extraordinary phenomenon, extraordinary photos. On the night of Friday 27 to Saturday, July 28, the longest lunar eclipse ever observed was admired and photographed in many places around the world, giving rise to some striking shots.
While in France many have hoping (unsuccessfully) to attend the show, the phenomenon was much more visible and appreciable from East and South Africa, the Middle East, India and part of Europe. This is how many photos have flooded the photo agencies, to the delight of the eyes.

Deprived of the rays of the sun, the moon has darkened and taken on a brick tinge because the earth's atmosphere deflects the red rays of sunlight into the shadow cone. The moon could then send them back. The real show began at 1824 GMT.
The most interesting moment of the eclipse, when the Moon was completely in the shadow cone projected by the Earth, was at 19:30 GMT and ended at 21:13 GMT
