According to him, family planning is extremely important for a country like Senegal where The majority of the population is very young (more than 60% are under 25 years old and more than 40% are under 15 years old). "This means that we are in a country where the majority of the population is very young and depends on those who work to maintain it. Kolda's deputy governor in charge of administrative affairs, Ciprien Antoine Balo, welcomed the choice made in this region to host the official ceremony of the World Population Day. He reaffirmed the commitment of the administrative authorities to support the actors involved in the promotion of family planning. Mr. Balo felt that the organization of this panel will enable people to better understand the importance of family planning and women's access to quality health care.
