Metlić explained that Gvozdenović was looking for a perfect and absolute painting, which he compared to superlative exterior paintings.

– His calm and secure writing that reveals a long "imagination" about the image can indeed start from the impulse of nature, but far from any impulse, recalls the author, recalling Gvozdenovic's words: "I was asking for absolute painting, absolute music to which the proportion of elements or extra-elementary values ​​will be reduced to a minimum.
