Pristina – The Pristina court sentenced seven Kosovo Albanians for a total of 17 years in prison for organizing and participating in the terrorist group and for illegally detaining weapons.

A total of 11 people have been accused of having organized terrorist groups and participated in the war in Syria, but the two indicted are still in detention, while the second, Betim Ibrahimaj, according to family claims, died in the Syrian battlefield, reports RTS.
Kujtim Bitići was sentenced to a maximum term of imprisonment of four years, while Besim Šabani, Egzon Ljatifi and Bekim Halili were sentenced to three years' imprisonment.
Adil and Jetmir Buši were sentenced to two years and six months in prison. Token Hajdini was acquitted for lack of evidence, while Kujtim Bitići for illegal possession of weapon was sentenced to eight months in jail.
Convicted persons have the right to appeal.
At a time when the Islamic State represented a serious force in Syria and Iraq, about 300 people left about 300 people on Kosovo castles, according to RTS.
