A senior Syrian official today reminded the situation in Syria and the likely evolution of the situation.

According to him, the Syrian Arab Army will liberate Idlib during the next month and it will be the end of the war in Syria.

According to him, the Syrian army has been ordered to completely release the country from terrorists in the coming days.

"The army now has the strength to liberate the province of Idlib, which will be the key to ending the war that has already entered the eighth year," he said.

He also added that events that will surprise everyone in the coming days will happen.

"The terrorists have themselves signed a death sentence," he added mysteriously after these words.

"The Syrian army successfully repudiates jihadist attacks on the border with Idlib and our stations are ready for both scenarios, both defensive and offensive," he concluded.

The terrorists in Idlib are weakened by mutual struggles.

In the past eight months, more than 8,000 of their members have been killed in clashes between various groups of jihadists, mainly Tarir al-Sham and Jabat al-Nusra groups.

While government forces have liberated most of the south of the country, Idlib, located in northwestern Syria, remains the largest rebel insurgency.

Idlib is a strategically important city because it shares the border with Turkey and the neighboring province of Latakia, which is a key asset of President Assad.

Also, the city is located near the highway connecting the second largest city in Syria, Aleppo, with the capital of Damascus.
