With Thanos (Josh Brolin) probably neutralized at the end of Avengers: End of the gameit will be time to present a new Big Bad that the surviving members of the team will face in two to four years. And if Marvel Studios continues to import comic elements, it's possible that the character appears in End of Game Stinger's scene, in the same way that Thanos showed his victorious smile at the end of the first Avengers movie.
Considering that the studio has trained us so well to anticipate the next event before the end of the current story, let's take a look at some potential enemies of the Avengers – whatever their form after Endgame. Some may be familiar, others are possible only through the purchase of 20th Century Fox by Disney. But all would be formidable opponents in phase 4.
Baron Mordo

Big Bad Potential: Like Loki (Tom Hiddleston) before him, Mordo could become a much larger player in the MCU thanks to the talents of actor Chiwetel Ejiofor and Mordo's binary justice brand. These types of characters inevitably come up against great teams like the Avengers. As we see in the Strange doctor post-credit, he determined that the mystical arts corrupted all those who used them and that he had to eliminate all the remaining wizards. Of course, this suggests that it will come after Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) sooner rather than later, as in the Strange doctor after. But a complete defeat may not be in the future, and his use of the Living Tribunal staff can lead him to accumulate more power to advance his cause. At this point, he would be an Avengers level opponent.

Big Bad Potential: Hela (Cate Blanchett) is a tough opponent for the team, especially if Thor (Chris Hemsworth) is not there to help her win. She is an accomplished fighter who wiped out the Warriors Three and most of the Asgardian defense forces. She is also powerful enough to destroy Mjolnir. Of course, there is a pesky problem with this Big Bad potential: she's dead. Killed by Surtur during the final battle in Asgard, she apparently would not be available. But then, consider how the gods of Asgard experience death and rebirth. Loki regularly deceives death and he is just a trickster. She is the god of death and presumably has a say in how long she rests in peace outside the nine realms.
Considering that it was necessary to destroy one of these kingdoms to stop it last time, the Avengers would need a lot of extra strength to even keep it in a stalemate.
Doctor Doom

First comic book appearance: The four fantastics # 5
First appearance of the MCU: N / A, but he debuted three times in three different attempts to start a The four fantastics series of movies.
Big Bad Potential: With the recent purchase of the 20th Century Fox movie studio by Disney, the movie rights of The Fantastic Four are reinstated in Marvel. And although Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has said he does not use X-Men for a long time, that does not mean there's no more room for one of Marvel's biggest villains to break into the cinematic universe of Marvel. For example, there is a Doctor Doom script of the movie written by Legion executive producer Noah Hawley while Fox still controlled the character. Hawley even recently said that Feige had asked questions about the script in anticipation of the Disney / Fox deal. He described the story as a kind of political thriller with Doom, already established as the leader of Latveria. Which would make it a distinctly different threat from all the others the Avengers have faced. What do you do when your enemy is not just a world leader, but a loved one of his people? The team will have to wage a war of perception as well as with its powers. And that's a very compelling reason to integrate the character into the MCU, even if the other properties previously controlled by Fox are sitting on the bench.
End Fang Foom and / or Mandarin

First appearance of the MCU: N / A, although a picture of Foom appears in Iron Man. Trevor Slattery (Ben Kingsley) and Aldrich Killian (Guy Pearce) both claimed to be Mandarin Iron Man 3But, as the Marvel One-Shot movie has revealed with the movie on Blu-ray, true Mandarin has not been seen yet.
Big Bad Potential: Foom, who preceded the Marvel Comics superheroes a few years ago, was one of the monsters created by Jack Kirby and is just a pleasure to watch. Originally presented as a dragon of the Chinese legend, Foom turned out to be an extraterrestrial metamorphosis after its integration into the Marvel Universe in the 1970s. While the rest of his extraterrestrial brothers set out to conquer the world at the beginning from the history of mankind, Foom, as navigator of their spaceship, remains asleep for centuries. His ship was finally discovered by a man who stole 10 sophisticated control rings from him and became a Mandarin. Foom finally woke up and caused a lot of problems to the superheroes of the planet.
Mandarin has entered the history of the MCU in Iron Man 3 while the Ten Rings debuted as a terrorist organization in the first Iron Man movie. But Foom represents a much greater threat if a vanquished Mandarin pulled him out of his long sleep to challenge the Avengers. It's the kind of bad guys we've always wanted to see. But it also implies that the Mandarin is an enemy worthy of the attention of the team. We are already convinced that he will be the villain in Shang-ChiIt is therefore quite possible that it poses a global threat in a not too distant future. Provided that Marvel wants a more human Big Bad with a domestic dragon.
Adam Warlock
First comic book appearance: The four fantastics # 66-67 (as "Him"), Marvel Premiere # 1 (as Adam Warlock)
First appearance of the MCU: The cocoon seen at the end of The Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is Probably a Warlock Adam in the making. He was supposed to appear in the movie at some point.
Big Bad Potential: Listen to us outside. Although generally portrayed as a protagonist, Adam Warlock made questionable choices in the pages of Marvel Comics, particularly when he was in possession of the Infinity Stones. And assuming that the Infinity stones are not destroyed by the conclusion of End of Gamehe may end up with them and try to purge the universe of evil, as he had already tried to purge evil in his soul, creating a version of himself known as Magus, in comics. The consequences on a universal scale could be disastrous. And perhaps, unlike Thanos, this change will be initially imperceptible to our heroes. This would be a slow progression for the MCU film series as a whole, which may well change pace after End of Game.

Big Bad Potential: Thanos set the precedent for the Big Bads in the MCU, but there is still the possibility for Marvel Studios to become bigger. How are we going bigger than Mad Titan? Well, there are celestials. They are beings of immense power. Peter Quill (Chris Pratt) and Gamora (Zoe Saldana) visit the collector (Benicio Del Toro) in Guardians of the Galaxy. Peter's own father, Ego (Kurt Russell), presents himself as a member of the cosmic level race.
Back in the comics, the Celestials are a key element of the secret origin of the Marvel Universe. They have gone from planet to planet to create beings such as the Eternals – who will soon appear in their own film Marvel Studios – Deviants and others. Their DIY led to Skrull's ability to change shape and, ultimately, to the appearance of superheroes on Earth.
Although humanoid, they tend to appear about 2,000 feet tall in the eyes of humans. And in the pages of Marvel Comics, they say that they are indestructible and that the small number that has been vanquished regenerates instantly. This power can make them too absurd for an Avengers opponent, but Ego was defeated and Knowhere, the spaceport where the collector kept his collection, would be the skull of a celestial death. Thus, even though they may be more vulnerable within the MCU, a single one of them would be a daunting challenge for the Avengers.
Galactus
First comic book appearance: The four fantastics # 48
First appearance of the MCU: N / A, although it appears as a cloud of extraterrestrial death in Fox Fantastic four: rise of the surfer money.
Big Bad Potential: If there is a certainty in the realization of low budget studios, it is this: Galactus will be a Bad Big MCU in the passing time. It's only a question of when.
One of the first cosmic-level entities imagined by Jack Kirby and Stan Lee, Galactus came to Earth to consume all its energies and satiate its enormous appetite. But, curiously, that does not make it inherently bad. Like any sensible life in the universe, he must consume another life to survive. Unfortunately for us, it exists on such a scale that a planet like Earth is a good dinner. This clearly distinguishes him from Thanos because the Avengers – and probably the Fantastic Four – should weigh their conscience between silencing him and respecting the right for such a being to survive. In addition, as with his appearances in comics, the heroes will have to find a reason smart enough for him to skip his meal the size of the Earth.
But will all this force Feige to direct a Galactus MCU to Earth in the near future? It remains to be seen. As with the X-Men, Galactus may be a character not included in the five-year plan that the studio will reveal after the release of End of Game. At the same time, he's the kind of character that could be sown right from End of GameScenes of stinger and guettons, like Thanos, for six years. As we have said before, Galactus is a possibility.
