The Valencia County Sheriff's Office announced that three suspects were in custody in the shooting of three men in a house near Los Lunas on Saturday morning.

Sheriff's Sergeant Joseph Rowland said that Brandon Dowdy, 18, Robert Wilson, 19, and a 17-year-old man had been arrested on three counts of murder. Associated Press generally does not identify underage defendants.

Court records do not list defense counsel who may comment on allegations.

The victims were identified: Darren Bernal, 40, Nathan Morrison, 28, Belen and Joseph Santiago, 29, Albuquerque.

The sheriff's office said witnesses who had heard gunshots saw a SUV leave the scene and that officers arrested the three men after discovering the utility vehicle nearby.
