Side effects of the Covid vaccine: side effects of each vaccine to look out for

The vaccine rollout has evolved at such a speed, and while many are aware of the potential side effects it can cause, few reports prevent what could possibly happen. What are the main side effects to be aware of with each vaccine – what are the three side effects that could be fatal?

In a study published in BMJ, Norwegian doctors evaluated critically fragile vaccinated patients to determine symptoms that might cause concern.

Norwegian doctors have been asked to assess critically fragile and terminally ill patients to determine whether the benefits of the vaccination outweigh the risks of possible side effects, after reports indicated that side effects from the vaccine could have resulted in deterioration and death in some patients, the study noted.

He continued: “Reports of 33 suspected adverse drug reactions leading to death after administration of the Pfizer and BioNTech vaccine had been received by the Norwegian Medicines Agency as of January 17.

Raj Bhopal, Professor Emeritus of Public Health at the University of Edinburgh said: “What is happening in Norway is probably happening in other countries.

“The MHRA will certainly take the Norwegian reports seriously and look at the data here.

“Side effects and unwanted effects are common but have not been presented to the public in detail, so everyone can join in quickly.

“But this is a short-term strategy, and open and transparent communication is needed in the longer term.”

Side effects of the Moderna vaccine from a previous trial included fatigue for 7% of participants, 8.9% muscle pain, 5.2% joint pain, 4.5% headache, 4.1% pain and 2% redness at the injection site. .

These symptoms were reported in trial participants aged 18 to 55.

People over 55 had many of the same side effects, but reported them in lower numbers, which is expected because immune responses weaken during the aging process.

Side effects reported from the Pfizer vaccine during the trial included 59% of participants who reported fatigue, 52% headache, 37% muscle pain, and 35% chills within seven days of receiving of the second dose of the vaccine.

About 16 percent reported a fever of 100.4 degrees or higher.
