In a surprise move, Silk Sonic – Anderson’s duo .Paak and Bruno Mars – will release their debut studio album, An evening with Silk Sonic, November 12.
The highly anticipated project will feature their No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 hit “Leave the Door Open” and the top 20 follow-up single “Skate”. Fans initially expected the album to be released early next year.
The two Grammy winners announced the release date of their new album on Friday, October 8, which happens to be the 36th anniversary of March. “THE ALBUM WILL BE RELEASED ON NOVEMBER 12 !!” Paak wrote in his Twitter Announcement. “Now spam the comments with happy birthday wishes to my brother @Bruno Mars. “
