The publisher called the events “disturbing” and “deadly insurgency”.

Hawley was one of two main Republicans to lead an effort to oppose certification of President-elect Joe Biden’s electoral college victory, making baseless allegations of fraud encouraged by President Donald Trump.
He was pilloried by both sides for his role in Wednesday’s events – and continued to oppose the Pennsylvania constituency results despite the violent violation. Congress, however, confirmed Biden’s victory in an early morning vote Thursday after the violence.
Hawley has openly criticized social media and other tech giants, such as Facebook and Twitter. His book, “The Tyranny of Big Tech,” was due out on June 21.
