Amanda "Mandy" Blank, a celebrity fitness trainer, was found dead in the bathtub at her home in Los Angeles.

She was 42 years old, reports news.com.au.

Blank was discovered Monday by a cleaning lady and was declared dead on the spot after paramedics arrived, TMZ said.

No drugs or alcohol were found at the scene, the report quoted sources as saying.

An autopsy and a toxicology test will determine the exact cause of death.

A source told the New York Daily News that no criminal act was suspected "at that time".

No other details were immediately available.

"I'm absolutely shocked," Annette Milbers, another fitness personality, told the Daily News. "We sent a message last week that she always made others feel good, and she reached out to me because I was competing." She said how proud she was. .

Blank was also a bodybuilder, becoming the youngest competitor to win the World Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness World Championships in 1999.

At the age of 18, she placed 5th at World Fitness Olympia and began appearing in women's fitness and bodybuilding magazines shortly thereafter.

She has worked with such celebrities as Alex Rodriguez, Mickey Rourke and Jordana Brewster, according to her website.

Blank had an actress credit to her name as "Female Body Builder" on Spin City in 2001, in a scene in front of Charlie Sheen.

She also appeared on the covers of Oxygen and MuscleMag and had her own online fitness program called the Body Blank program.

Since his death was announced, tributes have flowed on his social media pages.

His 87.5k followers on Instagram are shocked by his death.

"So sad that she was not only gorgeous but also inspiring, I'm still in shock," wrote a fan on her latest post on Instagram.
