The streaming giant has recently announced the creation of several new projects, especially those in the green light, that reflect the taste and sensitivity of the Indian public.

Bard of blood

Produced by Red Chillies Entertainment by Shah Rukh Khan, this multilingual spy thriller based on Bilal Siddiqi's book features Emraan Hashmi in the lead role.

A series on a background of Indian subcontinent, the story of Kabir Anand, an expelled spy, reminded of his current life as a teacher in Panchgani to save his nation and his long-lost love.

Baahubali: before the beginning

A series derived from the epic film of SS Rajamouli Baahubali: the beginning, he stars Mrunal Thakur in Sivagami and Rahul Bose in Skandadasa. Atul Kulkarni, Sheikh Vaquar, Jameel Khan, Siddharth Arora and Anup Soni also play an important role in the series.

Hotel Mumbai

Cobalt blue

Based on the bestseller of the same name, it revolves around two brothers and sisters – a brother and a sister – who fall in love with the same man and the way their traditional Marathi family is upset by the events that follow. Written and directed by Sachin Kundalkar, he focuses on the pain and beauty of forbidden love.

Sticks

This is the story of a talented, confident girl who has been avoided all her life. She is looking for a local crook to help her find her stolen car at a mad Mumbai gangster and, in doing so, regains her confidence in her. The film is performed by Mithila Palkar, Abhay Deol and Vijay Raaz.

Leila

Produced by Deepa Mehta, this is a series of dystopian fiction adapted from Urmi Juvekar's eponymous novel.
The story of research by a mother of her daughter, whom she was separated 16 years ago, she stars Huma Qureshi and Siddharth Suryanarayan in the lead roles.

Bulbul

Produced by Anushka Sharma's Clean Slate Films, it is a vintage film set in a world of old beliefs and superstitions.
This is the story of Satya, Bulbul – the wife of his brother – and their ancestral village haunted, prey to mysterious deaths and the story of a woman in the shadows.

August 15th

Produced by Madhuri Dixit, this film in Marathi takes place in a chawl of Mumbai and follows the course of one day as residents prepare for the flag raising ceremony. It highlights the struggles of the Indian middle class and shows how love makes us free.

Music teacher

Directed by Sarthak Dasgupta, it is the story of a troubled music teacher, played by Manav Kaul, who has the chance to deal with his bitterness with a former student, who is now a famous Bollywood singer.
