While Japanese billionaire Yusaku Maezawa is preparing to fly to the moon in SpaceX's brand new spacecraft, Elon Musk, the company's CEO, has now evoked his own space travel plans. Speaking in the Axios on HBO Documentary series, Musk explained that there had been a "recent number of breakthroughs" making trips to Marks more likely. The contractor also stated that there was "70%" chance that he will personally go to Mars and that he hopes to "settle in" there.
Discussing his possible move, Musk added that the trip would not be easy, but he wanted to take up the challenge. Denying that Mars becomes a "loophole for the rich," said Musk, convinced that early travelers (if they succeed) spend their time building a base and struggling to survive.
