LONDON: Bitcoin has extended its falls Monday to 3,843 USD, a decline of more than 5% from the day's record of renewed sales in cryptocurrency.
The other crypto-currencies also fell sharply, Ethereum's ether having lost 1.6% and Ripple's XRP a similar amount in a largely sentiment-driven slide.
Bitcoin was trading for the last time at $ 3,880, above the 2018 lows reached last week. A widespread sale in digital currencies has made it possible to calculate three-quarters of the world's best-known cryptocurrency value this year.
