The star of the Warriors has been unavailable for three weeks after being injured at the foot
Curry, who has won three NBA titles, will win another this year.
However, the warrior season has been affected by out-of-court problems.
Draymond Green and Kevin Durant were involved in a field quarrel against the Los Angeles Clippers, before Green asked Durant to leave the franchise.
There has been a lot of speculation about various members of the Warriors, Green, Durant and Klay Thompson, who could potentially leave the side.
However, Curry assured fans that he would not go anywhere.
"Personally, I thank Oakland for adopting me as one of them, for giving me a new home, for giving me a sense of pride and being able to play," he said.
"It was definitely a culture shock [moving from North Carolina]
"How fast things are moving, how dynamic the city is and how beautiful it is.
"It's our new home.
"I really do not think we're going to leave this area.
"And it's something that, 20 years ago, I would never have thought it was where I would end."
If Curry and the Warriors succeed this year, they will win their fourth NBA title in five years.
And the leader does not have any illusions about the size of the task at hand.
"We are entering a season with what we have in our team, a championship is our priority," he said.
"But this year, it makes the issues a bit more focused and special.
"Trying to win three times in a row and this is our last season in Oakland, playing in front of Oracle Arena fans."
