X Factor's Brendan Murrary revealed the advice given to him by mentor Louis Tomlinson after the weekend's results.
Three acts have been confirmed for The factor X 2018 final after a triple elimination in the semifinals.
Two competitors left the series on Saturday – Brendan Murray and Danny Tetley – before the Acacia & Aaliyah duo were eliminated in Sunday's X Factor results.
Brendan was mentored by Louis Tomlinson of One Direction and talked about his departure.
He told The Sun newspaper how Louis quickly offered his support after the show on Saturday.
Brendan explained, "After the show, Louis brought me to a meeting.
"He said that I am his friend for life, and that he is always there to advise me." He said never to change.
Meanwhile, Brendan talked about rumors of a romantic relationship between him and his X Factor opponent, Dalton Harris.
There was speculation about the pair after a muted photo on social media, but Brendan said, "Yeah, he was just wrong, he was just sitting on my lap, and we were just a little train to have the craic.So, no romance between Dalton and I. We are really good friends.Brothers. "
Brendan added, "He [Dalton] mentioned then about the thing. He said: "Everyone in Jamaica has misunderstood things and thinks we are together now."

A trio of acts are now vying for the victory of The X Factor.
The players of Louis Tomlinson Boys are Anthony Russell and Dalton, the current favorite for the win.
They will compete with the last remaining daughter of Simon Cowell, Scarlett Lee. Robbie and his wife Ayda Williams enter the final without action.
The final X Factor 2018 will start Saturday, December 1 at 19:30 on ITV and will continue with the results of the final on Sunday at 19:30, where the winner will be crowned.
