A graduate of the Singapore Polytechnic, who was in a coma after a car accident in Australia this weekend, died at the hospital as a result of her injuries.

Twenty-year-old Gwyneth Lok, who died yesterday, said Victoria police four days after the collision of the blue Renault with another car in Windermere, more than 100 km from Melbourne.

Ms. Lok, a recent graduate of Ngee Ann Polytechnic with a degree in Early Childhood Education, was one of five Singaporeans involved in the accident.

Nasuha and two of his colleagues, including a man, were transported to the baseball hospital with minor injuries.

Another passenger, Nasuha's twin sister, Naimi, an undergraduate student at Singapore Management University, was rushed to the Royal Melbourne Hospital for treatment after the accident.

The driver of the second vehicle, a 48-year-old man, and his passenger, a 10-year-old girl, were not injured, police said.
