SINGAPORE: The Certificate of Eligibility (COE) premiums have generally closed up again in the last call for tenders on Wednesday, February 20th.
For Category A cars, or those of 1,600cc or less with a power not exceeding 130bhp, the premiums closed at 26,301 Singapore dollars, against 25,689 singular dollars in the last financial year.
Premiums for larger and more powerful B cars increased from $ 34,509 to $ 35,403.
The centers of excellence for commercial vehicles, which include commercial vehicles and buses, increased from S $ 26,378 to S $ 26,914 in the previous call for tenders.
Motorcycle bonuses closed at S $ 3,689 compared to S $ 3,709 last year.
The open category excellence centers, which can be used for any type of vehicle but end up being used mainly for large cars, have gone from S $ 35,310 to S $ 36,667.
A total of 6,445 tenders were received, with a quota of 4,403 EC available.
