We have good news for owners of the unlocked Samsung Galaxy Note 9: it seems that Samsung has opened the beta One UI. A user interface is the redesign of Samsung Experience 10 based on Android Pie. It offers an in-depth redesign of the user interface emphasizing ease of use at a hand and a dark-scale theme at the system level. The One UI beta program is already available for the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 + in France, Germany, Korea, the United States and other regions. Samsung has not yet officially announced a beta program for the Galaxy Note 9; We were therefore surprised to receive several tips regarding the release of the beta for some Note 9 owners in the United States.
The XDA Nochlab1 and CrazyApe18 members of our affiliate SamCentral Discord server let us know that Samsung now allows users of Galaxy Note 9 unlocked in the US to sign up for the beta of One UI. Nochlab1 grabbed the latest Samsung APK + and shared the screenshots below showing the sign-up screen for the beta of One UI. If you have an unlocked Galaxy Note 9 (SM-N960U1) or want to use this firmware, you may be able to register.
Until now, we have seen that Sprint and Verizon users with U1 firmware have been able to sign up for the beta program. It is possible that other operators will soon be supported, but for the moment, only the unlocked firmware seems to be able to register. We must note that of the 3 users who informed us that registration is now available, none of them has received the update for the moment. If you prefer not to wait for the update, we have a guide on how to unofficially update the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 to the latest lost beta, One UI.
Samsung had never set up a beta program for its Galaxy Note range. It is therefore an interesting development. For users who have spent hundreds (if not more than a thousand) of US dollars on Samsung's best-selling product, you can now also get a glimpse of Samsung's latest software experience. If you want to check if registration is available on your device, download the latest Samsung + app and check out the banner at the top.

The official Android Pie update for the Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9 + and Galaxy Note 9 is scheduled for January 2019. We'll let you know when it's available or if the beta will extend to more owners of Note 9 in other regions. For Note 9 owners from other regions, you will need the latest Samsung Members app rather than Samsung +.
