A man in Punggol was rescued by the Singapore Civil Defense Force (SCDF) on Thursday (August 1st).

The SCDF told Stomp that he had reacted to a rescue incident around the 107B Edgefield Plains block at approximately 10:35 am and that upon his arrival he had seen a man at the window of the room to sleep from a unit located on the 15th floor.

Reminders from the SCDF disaster relief and assistance team, a safety net and a respiratory safety system, were deployed as a precaution.

A spokesman added: "The man was then secured by SCDF rappers".

He was examined by paramedics and taken to the Singapore General Hospital by ambulance.

Photos taken by Stomper Jasmine, who made a delivery in the vicinity, shows the air pack at the foot of the block.

The area was also cordoned off.
