Actor Anthony Wong, of Hong Kong, is one of the biggest names in the industry, but he may be considered a whole other product in the coming months.
The 57-year-old Straits Times said he would soon be calling his father's last name, Perry.
"There have been some changes in my life recently that have made me think that it was time for me to do that," he says in Mandarin.
"The next time you talk to me, you'll have to call me Mr. Perry."
One reason is that he found his half-brothers on his father's side earlier this year, a heart-warming story that made headlines around the world.

Wong is his mother's last name. She died at the end of last month of kidney failure.
He said: "I could even leave Hong Kong soon. I had to live and work in Hong Kong because I wanted to take care of my mother.

Perhaps more opportunities to work abroad will arise now that he plays, for the first time, a lead role in a British television series.
In White Dragon, broadcast on Fox (Singtel Channel TV 330, StarHub TV Channel 505), he interprets David Chen, a police officer based in Hong Kong who discovers that his British wife has a second secret marriage in England.
This is the first English speaking role of Wong. "I was very surprised to hear the role.My English is not the best.I felt a little in a hurry to get the right pronunciation.
"The language was definitely the biggest challenge for me, but doing this show was very relaxing because there is a lot of time between filming, not like in a drama in Hong Kong," he says.

"It does not really bother me, the show was designed primarily for the UK market, I'm just trying to do my part."
