Most users around the world use Android operating systems on their phones Samsung, Sony, Huawei and other phones other than Apple. Google, the maker of Android, recently added a welcome feature to Android's operating system: a new tool called Digital Wellbeing, which lets users know how much time they spend on their devices.
The new version of Android is known as 9 Pie and contains several updates and new features for the users to enjoy. The software was launched last August but has only been installed in Pixel and Essential gadgets. However, he recently made his debut on Huawei, OnePlus and Sony phones.

Digital Wellbeing tells users how many times they unlocked their phone, how many minutes they spent on each app, and more.
All users need to do is open the Digital Wellness switch in the settings menu and they can automatically see all the data. There is also a timer to let users set their own time for an app, a Do Not Disturb feature that temporarily shuts down notifications, Wind Down to dim the gadget, and more.
According to Google, "Even though we spend a lot of our time on our phones, we would like to be able to disconnect more easily and save time for other tasks.
In fact, more than 70% of those surveyed in our research said they would like more help in this regard. So we've been striving to add key features directly into Android to help users achieve balance with the technology they're looking for.
In the month of May of Google I / O, we introduced some of these features of Digital Wellbeing for Android, including a new dashboard that helps you understand how you spend time on your device. an application timer that allows you to set time limits for applications and put the icon in gray on your home screen when the time is up; the new Do not disturb mode, which silences all visual interruptions that appear on your screen; and Wind Down, which activates the Night Light and Do Not Disturb functions and switches the screen to grayscale before going to bed. "
Although the tool was introduced a few months ago, only Pixel devices contained an incomplete beta version.
However, it is now available for Android One and Google Pixel hardware and, most importantly, it already contains a "dashboard" which lists the installed applications and the number of minutes elapsed.
Google has announced that the 'Digital Wellbeing' tool will be extended to other devices than those using Android One and Pixel, but this has not yet been revealed.
