Robert Lewandowski became the seventh player to reach the UEFA Champions League 50-goal record after his first goal for Bayern München against Benfica on Tuesday.

The Polish striker completed his half-century in the Bayern group stage with Benfica, placing himself tied with Thierry Henry – and with a higher goal rate than the Monaco coach. Lewandowski needed only 77 games to score his 50th goal in the competition, from the group stage to the final, while Henry scored 50 goals in 112 games for Monaco, Arsenal and Barcelona.
