Jamie Carragher Liverpool says "can count on the defense to win a match", even without two crucial strikers.
Liverpool had its best start to the Premier League season with ten wins and three draws in its first 13 games.
They score fewer goals than last season but have improved considerably in defense, conceding only five goals with Manchester City leaders.
