LONDON: Star Trek actor Chris Pine replaces the movie "Outlaw King" in the drama "Outlaw King" in which he plays the 14th century rebel warrior, Robert the Bruce, who fought the British to take over control of his country.
The American actor, best known for playing the role of Captain Kirk in the sci-fi saga, dons an armor and puts a Scottish accent on the role that follows the man considered an out-of-the-world. law by the king of England in his bloody quest for independence.
Regarded as a national hero in Scotland, Robert the Bruce was king of Scotland from 1306 to his death in 1329.
