The negligent doctors involved in the highly publicized death of the first liposuction in Singapore were ordered to pay about $ 756,000 in court fees, assessed by a High Court clerk.
James Elisha Lee, Deputy Registrar (CA), said in his decision last week that the case remains extremely complex in terms of technical and medical, the prepared documentation, as well as the skills and time spent by lawyers, in particular as regards the award of costs.
