The people of Stuttgart do not know the winning recipe and that is why the new generation brings only subtle changes of style compared to the old one. By "subtle" we mean almost imperceptible to non-Porschofiles.

Not only is it more powerful and faster than its predecessor, but the new 911 also looks more imposing despite the unfamiliar design language. This is because the rear is wider than before, even the Carrera models are as wide as the top models. In addition, the width of the front is 45 mm (1.7 inches) wider than before, so even though in these official images and videos, you might be tempted to say that it's the old, in real life, it should be a different story. More robust wheel arches with 20-inch alloys at the front and 21-inches at the rear also contribute to the vehicle's poor posture.

More significant changes took place in the cabin, which prompted Porsche to assert that the car had a "brand new interior" inspiring 911 models from the 1970s. The central display now measures 10.9 inches and, below, five buttons allow quick access to the vital functions of the car. To allow for greater display, the central vents have been moved further down the center console.

Here we have the hottest flavor revealed today at the dawn of the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show – the Carrera 4S. It has 443 horsepower from a 3.0-liter turbocharged six-cylinder engine offering an additional 23 horsepower over the previous model. Equipped with the optional Sport Chrono Package, the Carrera's 4S AWD specification only needs 3.4 seconds at 100 mph (100 km / h) and exceeds 306 km / h (190 mph).

In these videos and images, you will only see the PDK selector of the new eight-clutch, eight-clutch automatic gearbox, but do not worry, because Porsche has promised to keep the manual alive for the 992 series. For example, you can get a seven-speed do-it-yourself box for the non-S Carrera.
