With the move of several members of the AMD GPU team to Intel, many things are changing. under the direction of Raja Koduri. Intel plans to launch a dedicated graphics processor by 2020 under the code name Arctic Sound.

Arctic Sound will be Intel's true attempt at the GPU market (I do not count Larrabee, which was eventually canceled), we expect the first release to be destined for the artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning, but ultimately, maybe a GPU game too.

According to rumors, Intel will hold a conference in December with its chief architect, Raja Koduri, and his leaders, who would provide updates on the development of the company and on the future projection of pending technology. Koduri who left AMD exactly one year ago set up a A GPU R & D center in Canada and plans to build a GPU design R & D center in India.
