K-pop band IKON will perform in Singapore as part of the world's first tour

SEOUL: The South Korean boyband iKON will begin its first world tour with scheduled stops in eight Asian cities, including Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok.

The "2018 Continuous Tour" will begin in Seoul on August 18 at the Olympic Gymnastics Arena, the YG Entertainment Management Agency announced Monday (July 2).

The K-pop group is also set to perform in Taipei, Manila, Jakarta and Hong Kong. The dates of the concerts have not been announced.

The group – consisting of Bobby, BI, Jinhwan, Yunhyeong, Donghyuk, Ju-ne and Chanwoo – is also expected to announce more stops for the world tour at a later date.

iKON recently returned in 2018 with a new single, Love Scenario. It was the group's first music video to exceed 100 million views on YouTube.
