Before the release of his first solo album, SHINee's Key said it wanted to be active in many areas, have spent valuable time being part of SHINee and getting advice from Taemin in his solo debut.

On November 26, Key presented at Konkuk University his first solo album "Face". Including his previously released track "Forever Yours," the album includes the title "One of Those Nights," an R & B song starring Crush.

Key shared: "I do not think I've seen a lot of people who did several things at once, including the release of an album. I wanted to be that kind of person. I wanted to make variety shows, movies and albums. I wanted to prove that I could juggle all that. I've worked hard because if I show a good side of myself in other areas, I think people will also be interested in my album. "

As SHINee debuted in 2008, this year marks the band's 10th anniversary. Key commented, "The 10 years of SHINee could be considered to have passed both quickly and slowly. I have never really regretted it. It was a moment passed with happiness. This time was precious to me, and if I did not have that time, I doubt that I could have done all that stuff on my own. It is precious, precious and irreplaceable. "

Key commented on the reactions of his members during his solo debut: "The members have supported me a lot, but I have not had the chance to meet and let them listen to music. They probably only heard the title track once or twice. Taemin is mostly [busy] promotion in Japan. After listening to my title song and "Forever Yours", he said it was good because I felt like I had a different charm from him. Taemin said I would have no regrets if I did everything I wanted. As Taemin is the eldest solo debut, I understood what he meant.

"Face" will appear November 26 at 18h. KST.
