Memphis Depay could want the return of Manchester United

Former Arsenal star, Robert Pires, hinted that Memphis Depay could return to Manchester United after a stint in France.

The Dutch spent his time in Ligue 1 and became a quality player who saw him associated with the best European players.

Depay left United during the reign of Jose Mourinho, although a buy-back clause was included in his sale.

Pires thinks the winger will feel as though he has an unfinished business in England and will be tempted by a comeback.

The struggles of Memphis against the Red Devils were always relegated to the rank of brilliant brilliants which proved that he had the quality and that it was enough to show it constantly.

According to Team Talk, Robert said, "I think Depay wants to get back to the Premier League and he feels like he's having some outstanding business in England.

"It did not work for him at Manchester United and Depay is a very proud player, maybe he thinks he did not have the chance to play and earn the right to stay longer, because he was so young and he was showing some potential.

"Depay may want to return to Manchester United or he might be motivated to prove that he is wrong playing for one of his Premier League rivals."

The Lyonnaise star has openly discussed his desire to leave and is said to have quarreled with a senior member of the club.

Manchester United may hesitate to invest for him because of this, but it matches the profile of the player they are looking to buy, according to reported information.

According to some media, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be appointed permanent director of the club. He is targeting a right winger.

If a buy-back clause is actually included in Depay's contract, it would mean that United will not have to spend too much to bring in a quality player.
